Description
GE Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element AG8040F-400 | High-Performance Brackish Water RO Membrane
Product Overview
The GE AG8040F-400 is a high-performance reverse osmosis membrane element specially designed for brackish water desalination. It utilizes industry-leading thin-film composite material and advanced feed spacer technology to deliver high salt rejection and stable, high flow rates. It is suitable for industrial pure water production, seawater desalination pretreatment, cooling tower blowdown reuse, and various other high-salinity water treatment applications.
Core Advantages
• High Salt Rejection: Removal rate of dissolved salts up to 99.6%, effectively controlling product water TDS.
• High Flow Design: 400 square feet of effective membrane area, with a single element production capacity of 10,500 GPD (approx. 39.8 m³/d).
• Strong Fouling Resistance: 34-mil feed spacer design reduces fouling risk and extends cleaning cycles.
• Excellent Chemical Tolerance: Supports cleaning within a pH range of 1-12, suitable for complex water conditions.
• Long-Term Stability: Manufactured with automated winding process to ensure uniform stress distribution, with a service life of 3-5 years.
